Message from the Principal

Time flies, and it has already been 70 years of operation for Sheng Kung Hui Kindergarten. I am grateful for God’s love and care, allowing me to welcome challenges, solve problems and nurture children, working hand in hand with my colleagues and parents of the school throughout the years. Looking back, children’s happy faces, their innocent and pure laughter have been my greatest motivation all along. It reminds me of the meaning of “kindergarten” in German – “children’s garden,” a place where we can sow, water, root, and grow in the hearts of the children.

As part of the school’s education team, we bear the responsibility of being the “gardeners,” accompanying our children on their rapid developmental journey. Children always come first when providing quality education. We collaborate and work together to create a safe, healthy, diverse and inspiring learning environment, where children’s innate needs for play, learning and exploration are met, enabling them to develop their multifaceted potential. Furthermore, our school places great emphasis on biblical teachings through our “life education” curriculum. We actively establish the correct values in our children, cultivate their resilience and good character, and foster a spirit of care and respect for others.

Just as a seed planted in rich soil can thrive, grow, and bear fruit, we firmly believe that a campus filled with God’s love and a dedicated team that continuously strives for optimization and fulfills the mission of “Teach children how they should live, and they will remember it all their life” (Proverbs 22:6), coupled with the mutual encouragement and support of the parents, can enable the children to grow up healthily and happily, laying a solid foundation for their lifelong learning and holistic development.
